Lomequin 0.3% eye drops: Each ml contains Lomefloxacin Hydrochloride INN equivalent to Lomefloxacin 3 mg.

Lomequin eye drops is indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis caused by susceptible organisms.
Adults and children (above 1 year of age)
At the beginning of therapy on day one instill 5 drops into the conjunctival sac within 20 minutes. Thereafter, until day 7-9 instill 1 drop 3 times daily into the conjunctival sac.
Mild, transient sensation of burning, irritation or pain may be experienced on instillation.
Long term treatment with antibiotics may enhance development of secondary fungal infections or may support growth of non-susceptible bacteria. Contact lenses should not be worn in the presence of infectious eye diseases and the product should not be instilled while wearing contact lenses. During prolonged use, it is recommended that physicians conduct periodic examinations of the eye, including measurement of the intraocular pressure.
There are no adequate and well-controlled studies of Lomefloxacin in pregnant woman and nursing mother. It should be used only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the child.
